What makes it a coffee lid
The Flex Sip lid has a small sipping opening rather than a full mouth, so hot liquid comes out at a rate you can drink rather than all at once. It seals when closed. That combination is the entire difference between a Hydro Flask bottle and a Hydro Flask coffee flask — the body is the same stainless vacuum-insulated vessel.
How long it actually holds heat
A sealed Hydro Flask bottle holds hot around twelve hours. A sip lid is opened and closed repeatedly, so in real use expect several hours of genuinely hot coffee rather than a full working day. That is still considerably longer than the paper cup it replaces, which is usually the point.

Who it suits
