Which opening do you want?
Wide mouth is the volume seller and the one most people picture. The opening takes standard ice cubes and a bottle brush, which matters if the bottle will be used for anything other than water. Standard mouth is narrower and easier to drink from while driving; the range here is smaller, three 21 and 24 oz bottles. If you are buying for a mixed group and cannot ask everyone, wide mouth with a Flex Straw cap is the safest default.
Lids, and why they change the price
The Flex Cap is the flexible strap lid that carries on one finger and seals leakproof. Flex Straw adds a straw for drinking without unscrewing. Flex Sip is a sealed sipping lid built for hot drinks and is what the coffee flasks ship with. Flex Chug is a narrow spout for drinking at speed. Same bottle body, different lid, usually five to ten dollars a piece apart.
Sizes that actually move
16 and 20 oz for desk and conference use. 24 oz is the all-purpose size. 32 oz and 40 oz are the gym and jobsite sizes and are what people ask for by name. The Micro Hydro bottles at 200 to 400 ml are a kids and small-gift line, not a scaled-down adult bottle.
Decoration, and what the price actually covers
The decoration method is set per product and named on its own page: imprint, laser etched, screen printed, digital transfer or heat transfer. Where a method is named, one color in one location is included in the price shown. Laser etching is the one to understand before you pick it — it cuts through Hydro Flask’s Color Last powder coat to bare stainless, so the mark reads silver rather than in your brand color. That is a deliberate look, not a fault, but almost nobody expects it until they see the proof.
Roughly a third of this catalogue is priced blank by the supplier. Those pages say so plainly, and decoration on them is quoted separately. Send one through Request a Quote and you get a decorated price up front instead of a surprise on the invoice.
Before you order
Minimum order quantities are set per item and are printed on every product page. They are not uniform: some bottles start at six pieces, others at ninety-six. Check the figure against your headcount before you build a budget. Shipping is not included in the prices shown — you can supply a UPS or FedEx account number at checkout or be invoiced for freight afterwards.
